MATCHED!
Just an update....I HAVE BEEN OFFICIALLY MATCHED! After only a couple weeks of searching, I found a great MT in Amman, Jordan...and will be leaving the week after classes end for the summer.
I came into the whole process wanting an MT in the Middle East that paid well enough to live on (also, keep in mind that I am an International Studies major, with a minor in French and a focus on Social Urban Development, who also speaks Hindi. In other words, NONE of this would help me in getting a management traineeship in the Arabic-speaking Middle East).
Buuuut, I did it! This is proof that there are so many opportunities out there that are waiting to be picked up. I've been in AIESEC for almost three years now and I finally decided that I had done enough thinking and planning for it and that it was time to just DO ONE.

awww....Laura - I am sooo happy for you girl. Jordan will be amazing and, as I'm sure you already know, the Jordanian AIESECers are amazing. you will for sure have the time of your life - I'm looking forward to hearing more about it when you are there!!
